Reducing packed volume can improve container efficiency, warehouse density and parcel handling. For B2B buyers, this affects landed cost before the product ever reaches the shelf.

Replaceable surfaces help after the product is in use
Scratching surfaces naturally wear faster than the frame around them. Treating those surfaces as replaceable components allows the product to stay useful for longer.
